In this month’s spotlight we have Rebecca Grant who is one of our AMAZING client managers!! She has been with Remote COO for two and half years! We found out she loves anything that is detailed oriented including editing, proofing, invoicing, spreadsheets, and even Quickbooks. We put together a list of questions to get to know a little bit more about Rebecca, and here is what we found…
What do you like to do during your down time?
Rebecca enjoys being with friends and family and dabbling in hobbies. She loves to bake, take nature walks, crochet, work on arts and crafts, and garden.
Some of what she has grown in her garden are eggplants, cucumbers, jalapeños, tomatoes, kale and most recently, beets, which she is trying for the first time. In addition to vegetables, she also likes growing herbs. Rebecca goes into gardening with an open mind and with the understanding that it is experimental and something fun to try. She has learned over the years that not everything will be a success. How relaxing.
What is one of your favorite restaurants or fun spots?
Fadi’s Mediterranean Grill. She likes the food, and they have a nice outdoor patio area with beautiful plantings. She also enjoys the City Centre area, because there are plenty of things to do including shopping, enjoying the outdoors, and dining at one of the many restaurants available.
What is one thing readers would be surprised to know about you?
Rebecca double majored in Music and Psychology at SMU in Dallas. She loves to sing and was in musicals in both high school and college.
What is one business tip you can share?
Find a place to store your tasks and responsibilities and ALWAYS give them due dates for accountability. Begin each work day by logging into your preferred system by and taking an assessment of what tasks need to be accomplished that day, tomorrow, and within the next week. Also, be sure to check periodically throughout the day for any updates. She believes doing this on a daily basis will increase your productivity and help you manage your time and responsibilities more effectively. Rebecca uses and is a fan of Asana.
