Karen’s leadership experience extends to managing a large team of volunteers and creating and implementing organizational protocols in the areas of assimilation, hospitality, and safety/security. She also brings human resources experience to the table with responsibilities ranging from hiring and onboarding to benefits administration. Beyond her professional endeavors, Karen finds joy in her rural community alongside her husband, Terrell, where they live on 40 beautiful acres of God’s creation. Her favorite activities include spending quality time with their adult kids and grandchildren, engaging in culinary adventures, nurturing her garden, and enjoying a good book on the front porch swing.
