A trusted operational partner who works inside your organization with your email, your calendar, and your full organizational context.
· · ·
You get an ops-minded partner who brings structure, visibility, and leverage to your whole team without becoming one more person to manage.
· · ·
Every engagement is scoped around your specific priorities. Your version of ‘running smoothly’ is what we build toward.

We work with Executive Directors, nonprofit CEOs, and founders of growing organizations. These leaders are deeply committed to their mission and increasingly unable to give it their full attention because operations keep getting in the way.
Decisions, communications, planning, follow-through: you’re the bottleneck for all of it.
The inbox, the staff questions, the board needs create a constant feeling of being just a step behind.
You know you should be focused on donor relationships, community presence, and key partnerships, but you can’t get out from behind the desk long enough to do it.
The plan is excellent. But months pass, and the day-to-day keeps crowding out the longer-term work that moves the mission forward.
For most of our nonprofit clients, it starts here. You get a dedicated team member who works inside your organization as part of your team. They carry your organization’s email address, attend your meetings, and are fully responsible for the work they take on.
THIS IS WHAT THAT LOOKS LIKE IN PRACTICE:
Your inbox stays organized, your schedule stays protected, and nothing falls through the cracks.
Board packets, committee agendas, and communications are managed with cohesive organizational context.
We help you stay ahead of what matters by tracking commitments, flagging what’s at risk, and keeping the important things moving.
From stakeholder meetings to funder calls, your time gets managed intentionally, not reactively.
As the relationship grows, so does our scope. Clients often add:
We take the time to understand what your organization actually needs before any work begins.
The commitment-free 30-minute conversation with Sasha is designed to understand where your organization is, where you want to go, and what’s standing in the way.
We map your highest-priority operational needs to a custom scope of work. You know exactly what will be handled and what accountability looks like from month one.
We join your organization as a true operational partner, completing the work, owning the follow-through, and freeing you to lead at the level your mission deserves.
We know that inviting an outside team into the inner workings of your organization requires trust.
We believe our work and opportunities are entrusted to us by God to steward for His glory.
We invite collaborative relationships, generously sharing our expertise and networks.
We communicate transparently because we deeply value their trust.
We share mutual responsibility and ownership, helping each other along the journey.
We expect proactive participation to achieve a consistently high standard.

But as the organization grew, the operational complexity grew along with it. Now your days are full before they even start. Your inbox is overflowing with staff questions, board needs, funder communication, and compliance deadlines. It’s not that any one thing is out of control, but the sum of everything on your plate makes you constantly feel like you just need one more Saturday to catch up.
You’re always responding, rarely able to be proactive.
Most leaders in your position have already tried the obvious solution: a full-time executive assistant. And that often means high turnover, inconsistent training, and a management burden that lands right back on you. So instead of getting time back, you add another layer to manage and the organization keeps relying on what’s in your head.
This is where Remote COO thrives. With 20 years of experience supporting small and growing organizations, we step in as a part-time, trusted operational partner who steps in and gets it done.
We handle the moving pieces. We build the structure. We reduce the noise so you can think clearly, show up visibly in the community, and lead at the level your mission requires.

For 13 years, I served as Director of Operations for a nonprofit. First directly on staff, then continuing the relationship as a Remote COO client, I managed a $2.2 million budget, board relations, grant compliance, and fundraising events. I know what it’s like to be the person everything runs through.
Along the way, I was building Remote COO — and felt the same overwhelm my clients experience. I needed exactly what I’d built for them.
So I hired a “Sasha” of my own. In building that team, I’d developed a framework for the operational support that lets nonprofit leaders stop being the ceiling of their own growth.
So after 20+ years and dozens of nonprofit leaders, our mission remains the same: get you out of the weeds and back to the work your mission needs from you.
